Agis Peterson is a physicist and award-winning professional photographer, widely recognized for his expertise in astrophotography, commercial imaging, and visual storytelling. With a unique ability to merge scientific precision with artistic vision, he creates striking photographs that capture both the vastness of the cosmos and the refined detail of everyday environments.
Over the past decade, Agis has traveled to more than 35 countries, exploring remote landscapes, dark-sky reserves, and cultural landmarks, where he has developed a portfolio that seamlessly bridges art, science, and exploration. His work has been featured in exhibitions, publications, and international collaborations, including with leading research institutions such as CERN.
In addition to his artistic practice, Agis is committed to education. He regularly teaches workshops and masterclasses—most recently at the University of the Arts London (UAL).
Beyond astrophotography, Agis has established himself in the field of commercial, architectural, fashion, and event photography, working with businesses, designers, and brands to produce images that enhance identity, communicate atmosphere, and drive engagement. His versatile practice spans fashion, product, architectural, and event projects, while always maintaining his hallmark style of clarity, depth, and minimalism.
When not on assignment or teaching, Agis continues to develop personal projects that reflect his enduring fascination with the interplay between light, time, and space.
